Navigating Flares

Flares are a conditioned response to our environment and a completely normal part of the healing process. In fact, we expect them to occur throughout your journey. While this might sound intimidating at first, it’s important to know that flares provide a valuable opportunity for brain re-training.

Rather than viewing flares as setbacks, we’ll learn to approach them through a lens of safety and curiosity. Together, we’ll develop a plan to navigate these moments in a way that helps calm the nervous system and reduce the emotional charge they often carry. Over time, you can expect to see changes in both the frequency and intensity of your flares.

We’ll explore these tools and concepts more deeply in upcoming modules, but for now, remember this: flares are not the enemy. They are part of the learning process, and there is nothing to fear. One of our main goals in the first month is to shift the way we relate to pain and discomfort, by offering a new perspective that helps lower the nervous system’s threat response and builds greater resilience.
